This year's speaker is Dr. Jim Brown from Wabash, whose talk is titled "“Tell me, MoNA – Where has the magic gone?” How does the shell structure of a nucleus change when there are vast asymmetries between the number of neutrons and protons? The Modular Neutron Array (MoNA) can help answer this!   28. In its tenth season, DePauw Jazz at the Duck is a weekly jazz and blues series dedicated to bringing this diverse art-form to the DePauw and Greencastle communities. Performances are Thursday evenings from 9pm to 11pm at the Walden Inn's Fluttering Duck. All events are free and open to the public. Past artists include Grammy winners Chip McNeill and Frank Catalano, local blues legend Tad Robinson, Randy Salman's Condition Blue as well as the DePauw Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combos.

  30. Alpha Chi Omega hosts the annual Monon Pep Rally and domestic abuse awareness event, Ring Sing. A fundraiser and Monon Rally, Ring Sing will raise sprirts before the rival game with Wabash, and awareness of domestic abuse in Indiana. This year, join us in the Lily Fieldhouse Gym on Thursday November 12 at 9pm to watch teams compete in skits and dance offs to win the bell. Admission $1. All proceeds benefit victims of domestic abuse in Indiana.
